No kidding, this is a
one. I really think the extra dose of epsom salts I've been giving them over the winter is helping a lot, along with the Pro-Tekt silicon stuff. I just add a couple of teaspoons of epsom salts and a capful of the silicon stuff to the fert solution (2gal.) about once a month, and the leaves are so much bigger, darker green and even seem to have a thicker texture.
Time and summer weather will tell, so . . . we shall see. I just had to move that big plant out of the pool cage yesterday. It's just gotten too big for the small space inside. So now I'm expecting the plant will be more stressed even than it was before, what with more exposure to insects, (not that the cage ever protected them much!) plus direct sun not filtered by the screening. I may be starting over with that plant pretty soon, but . . . that's life with brugs, right?
