Thanks. I will keep it at size Small. I measure the same-ish. Just a tad bigger on my right hand.

I went to my local Ace Hardware and they carry the Atlas gloves…($8.99 each) I tried the medium, and there was a little bit of play in the fingers…the small was….no play at all, and I'm concerned that the fingers will wear too quickly…What say you all!?!?

Thanks so much for hosting the coop. I love these gloves.

I am not sure what type of gloves you tried on but for the Nitrile gloves, I like them to fit like a second skin. So being tight is what I like. They don't wear out quickly but I don't work with thorny plants. The heavier Thermal gloves I don't mind if they are a little loose but not so much that I can't "feel" things while wearing them. The rubber on the fingers are nice and waterproof which is great for winter yard cleanups.

You won't have any problem with the fingers wearing out. I like a snug fit also. They really feel like a second skin and are so comfortable.

If I keep my nails short and filed dull, the fingers last at least one full season.
I do not dry mine in the dryer.

I agree with others on a tight fit. I wear a S and bought a M one time when they were out of S's and found I never wore the M. I wear them until the coating begins to fail and I find my hands are getting dirt on them inside the glove. I'm guessing that might be a 2nd year glove, not sure, I keep a lot of these on hand all the time. I've never had any problems with ripping or holes in them. I wash and dry them about once a season, and I use the dryer (read somewhere, here perhaps, that the heat will reactivate the tackiness of the coating).

Deb, I usually air dry them to "protect" the coating, but I think your idea that the dryer will reactivate the tackiness is really a good one!

I NEED a doz pr Atlas Nitrile 370 Garden Glove $2.07 a pair in medium. Any BRIGHT color is fine with me.

I've been wearing these for years & it takes a lot to wear out a finger - although I do manage to get a hole in the rt index finger!!!! They also wash up very well.
Blessed are the Quilters for they are the Piecemakers.

Hmm, the tape measure said "8 inches" (which might be a mens medium) but when I lay my hand down on the printed PDF chart , my hand looks exactly like "XL".

I think I will stick with XL since I know I can use a glove that's too big, but If my hand won't fit in it, I won't use it much.

Rick you should be able to find some locally to try on. Feed stores or garden centers will usually stock them. Probably big box stores as well (Lowes, Home Depot) although I rarely go in those, so don't know for sure. Is there a Cenex near you?

If anyone lays their hand on the printed PDF chart and it says bigger please read to the right of it to it where is says the circumference as extra large is 10 inches. Rick if you measure 8 inches I don't think you will be happy with an extra large as it is 10 inch circumference. That is 2 inches bigger than you need.

>> find some locally to try on.

I will try the garden departments in Lowes and Home Depot. It's a fairly long drive to find a nursery since my favorite one closed.

>> I don't think you will be happy with an extra large as it is 10 inch circumference. That is 2 inches bigger than you need.

I'll still stick with "XL" until I can try one. The printed page is very clear, althoguh I suppose the "8 inches" is also clear. But I can get by with a big glove.

I'll be using them mostly to pull on tight compression stockings and pulling the wrinkles out of them. I don't need a good fit for that, but I do need to be able to get my hand into them.

I'll have to buy them somewhere else though.
I'm XS.

I usually have to special order my size 5 shoes, too.

Hi Teri -- I apologize for the lack of response on my part! Absolutely black is fine. I have no idea why I was thinking in colors when I put down dark blue! This is my first Co-op so here come the stupid questions: as far as the list of Priority Mail shipping boxes; is that just for our information or would you rather we go online and send our box to you. See...stupid question!
Anyhow, thank you all for managing this wonderful buy for us and all your time and effort is truly appreciated! Also, if there is an issue with shipping costs, please include me in on sharing that burden with you.
