Greg, you gave me some of the Silver Stone and it is one of my favorites! Guess it's the "pom pom" look that I adore.

I do like that one too!! A friend of mine gave me some of hers, and its slightly different from what I sent you, more greenish, but still with the pom poms. It could be that its still adjusting but it looks interesting! Thumbs up

I was just thinking walking the dogs and I had a thought!!! Hurray! Hurray! Hilarious!

Maybe lemon ball and Lemon curl are different plants. The one I gave Greg and I think you Lynn was Lemon Ball , all of which is not evergreen. However Lynn your Lemon curl is still evergreen!!

Wow Spring, that could totally be true! Mine doesn't even have a glimps of life, and I had it in 3 different spots. For a while it was looking amazingly bright in the dreary autumn, but then the temps dropped and poof, it melted Thumbs down I think you're right that they are 2 different plants! Thumbs up

I am not sure if she will be available on Sat. morning this year. Was thinking that we might be able to go Friday evening after the 3 other nursery tours?
Still trying to work things out.

I think my Aptenia is a gonner, especially since the December deep freeze. I took four cuttings off of it in the fall and I am transplanting them into pots now. I really love this sedum, so different from many others. I know of at least one local nursery that is holding a mother plant for cuttings. But you never know, with the cold weather we experienced this winter they could lose it. I hate when that happens, whether it is the Aptenia or other tender perennials. It really sets back the availability of unusual plants.

It is a lovely plant. I don't grow it because I don't want to baby sit it. Sad
