If you are growing roses, you want to grow beautiful roses! While growing conditions differ across the country, and all of these suggestions may not work in some areas, I think many of these tips may be helpful in growing the beautiful blooms that we all covet.

The fact that you are growing such lovelies in Utah should encourage people everywhere to plant more roses.

but your roses are every bit as beautiful as those I see in rose nirvana So california!

I did not take it as a slam on Utah. It seems that each of us, depending on where we live, have special challenges sometimes but other growing conditions favor some plants. Once on DG someone commented that they were surprised that Hosta would grow in Utah. They grow nicely but do look especially nice if we have a rainy spring.
