Zuzu, thanks for adding the photo. Tiffany is beautiful in addition to having the heavenly scent.
Tropicana has a sweet, citrusy scent, and I feel real sorry for anyone who can't smell it! I'll put up with all kinds of blackspot on it because the perfume compensates and then some. Lovey dubby

My mother used to grow Peace and I remember it would fill the house with its fragrance when she cut it for an arrangement for the dining room table. I think there is something wrong with my nose as I seldom notice much fragrance among my old garden roses.

I agree, Cindi. Tropicana has a strong fragrance. Toni, maybe you have one of those fake Tropicanas Lyn was talking about in another thread.

I love the smell of Peace, Porkpal.

All my rose photos are permanently lost in cyberspace so I can only list my favorite fragrant ones.

Cl. Cecile Brunner (when in full massive bloom) is quite a treat.
Julia Child is reliably very fragrant regardless of the season.
Pat Austin, Wenlock, Wild Blue Yonder, Enchanted Evening, Sunsprite, White Licorice, Cl. Colette, Westerland, Gruss an Aachen(sp?) Cl. Excellenz von Schubert, Cl. Polka, Sheila's Perfume, Bill Warriner, Love and Peace (HT), Queen of Sweden.

I would commit an act of treason to be able to grow Chrysler Imperial in this zone.

Mike - Why can't you grow Chrysler Imperial there? That's like a fool-proof rose.

And I'm gonna have to break down & order Enchanted Evening from J&P.. I don't want to, but that's the only place I can find that rose.

Cindi - I had it. Bought it locally back in '09. When I moved a bunch of roses from the west side of my house to the east side (more sun.. the west side of my house gets very little sun due to my massive silver maple tree), it didn't survive the move (I didn't know what I was doing then.. like I do now? Blinking Blinking Blinking ). I'm gonna talk to the rose person at my LGS (Tagawa Gardens) and if she didn't order it, I'll order it direct. I just don't really like J&P...

Nobody said 'Ebb Tide'?? That one has a great fragrance and really good wafting power for luring visitors ever closer to see what smells so good...
My favorite is the noid orange, which might be 'Tropicana'--and if so, then it's no fake.
And Peace, of course, Smiling

Toni, Chrysler Imperial doesn't like being at the ocean. It gets every disease here and just sulks.
