I was at an Herb fair last weekend and someone had these cute vases for sale. They are tiny bottles wired together, would be great on the window sill or desk.
Almost all of my herbaceous peonies bloomed while I was away. So, I am posting some pictures from prior years. My tree peonies bloom first about mid-March through mid-April, and then the herbaceous ones bloom mid-April to mid-May - right smack at the time that I was gone.
In the beginning, I had mostly pinks.

Then I added some reds, corals, and whites

I now have about 50 varieties, about 10 of which bloomed for the first time while I was gone. So, I am looking forward to seeing those next year.
Ranunculus are hit and miss in my garden - some clumps come back every year, and others disappear after a few years. I do replenish them periodically since I like their bright and cheerful colors.
And I love the vase too! We went to dinner at friend's house on Sunday so I was able to pick a nice bouquet to take. Glad I didn't pull them all out yet. I did collect some seed heads so any time now.
I've been cutting flowers for over a month now for market. Right now the rudbeckia have just started. Except for Cheyenne Spirit, all are volunteers. Glads are starting to open as well as dahlias. Lots of echinaceas and I noticed the crocosmia have buds. Callas and lots of yarrow, daisies and salvias and agastaches. Oh, I cut my first zinnias as well. Volunteers. I was late planting mine but they're coming along.
