Very pretty, Arlene!

My glads are only 3" high to 8" high so far! Hilarious! And as far as re-seeders go, they've just recently sprouted! There's such a huge difference between our growing areas!

Zinnias, rudbeckia, zinnias, daisy, zinnias, echinacea, fillers like lemon balm, cin. basil, baby's breath, green flowers and chartruese leaves like agastache Golden Jubilee. First that come to mind.

I left a Golden Jubilee in with the garlic while I was weeding it today. I just can't stand to pull those and toss them! I'll dig it up and bring it into the front gardens. For some reason I don't get many of those...two or three a year maybe.

I don't either and Jen gets hundreds. Couldn't figure out why. Duh! I'm always cutting mine. So now I let some go to seed. But I still scooped up a trowel full from Jen!

I have enjoyed looking though this thread - I haven't been cutting much so far this season, but I had to have some of these inside.

Peonies are really happy this year. (click on the pic)

Beautiful, Cinda! Thumbs up

I tried a new dwarf variety this year, and it actually did stay short! Very nice, although they may be too short for a vase Whistling ...might need a cup or a bowl for those. Nice, big, snow-white blooms though...just what I wanted in that spot.

I have some really nice, full-headed zinnias out there that I need to clip and bring in. Ribs are healed enough now that I was able to get the mowing caught up today, so perhaps I can play with plants a bit tomorrow. Big Grin

sounds beautiful
all white blooms?

Have you gotten enough rain the grass is growing?
I have gotten less than an inch in 6 weeks, a sprinkle here and there but no rain.
Drizzled all Friday and .15 in the rain gauge I had to water this morning.

Yes. They're white with a yellow center. I took a picture, but it's not a very good one.

The grass only slowed for a week or two here this year. This last cutting was chock full of heavy seed heads; good for a thicker lawn next year, I suppose, but I made sure to blow them away from the flower beds!

The only blooms I cut yesterday were some lovely yellow sunroots. They're cheery in the blue vase. No picture yet, but I may get one later.
