A small washtub has been given a second life. Once upon a time, my son used it at school to hold his supplies, and now it's my gardening friend.

Hi Pentalinda, Boy I wish I would have read your article sooner. I just used my kitchen sink for all of my seed starting. I have seed starting mix everywhere *Blush* *Blush* I can honestly say, my husband (and myself) would be so happy if I would repurpose a tub to do all of my plant workings. I also love the idea of watering the houseplants in the tub. I can’t count the to numerous times I have spilt water all over things in the house just trying to get the plants watered. Thank you so much for sharing and motivating. I tip my hat to you.

Thanks, Toni! And good luck with the seeds that you are starting. It's always fun to see those seedlings emerge.
