This was an ordinary seedling daylily which looked promising back in 2008. I was surprised to find this tiny frog had already staked a claim.

Outstanding!
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

Thanks everyone for the thumbs & acorns! You are all so very generous! Thumbs up I bet this little frog never dreamed it would become an attraction on ATP. In summer I run into these little guys almost on a daily basis, but somehow this one impressed me in its little "nest" atop a daylily. Here is another view of it and the daylily. The last one is a different frog. I am amazed how small they are.

Those are wonderful pictures and a great banner! And I agree with Tina, that's a lovely color on that daylily. Love the contrast of the bright green froggie and the bright pink daylily! Smiling

@TBGDN Sorry I missed this one -- busy running back and forth to the hospital visiting DH. It is a stunning daylily with such wonderful color and I, too am a frog person. Sons were here helping out and our frogs were singing to them every night from our pond under their window!
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.

@rocklady
Jean, don't be concerned about missing anything. I have missed a lot too! Our snow has all melted, the grass is beginning to recover and I have tons of outdoor work ahead of me. I pruned roses & shrubs yesterday, and now I have iris beds to clean and trim. So I am busy away from the computer for many hours each day. It will be May 1st before I get everything caught up.

I am hoping your DH is doing well: You mentioned the hospital visits. Glad to hear the sons are helping you. I wish mine lived near, then I could give them a lot of jobs. We have 2+ acres of lawn & gardens: That's a lot of TLC. Thanks for your thumb & comments.

DH is doing very well. Thanks for asking. Our son from GA who had experienced a perforated colon in October 2013 was compelled to come and be with his Dad as DH had a colon resection, gallbladder removal and hernia repair all in one operation. Fortunately, he had some personal time, so he and his brother, who was laid off recently, coordinated their visits so GA son came to be with his Dad during the time he was in the hospital and IL son came later to be with us when his Dad came home. They are very close and had some time together which was good. IL son left this morning. The two of us spent two wonderful days in the yard cleaning up leaves and trimming bushes while Dad rested in the house.
