He must be relieved it's over Sticking tongue out (for now) Congratulations to your DS, Annette.
And to you, too, SC, for your first peony bloom. That's wonderful!

Thanks Karen and Pwinjet. My DS is really excited. Although he graduates on Saturday morning, he still has 2 AP tests next week.

The family is arriving in town starting today, I'm so glad my peonies are in full bloom. My mom who arrived today could not believe the size of the peony blooms. She really captivated by Bowl of Cream, and the other peonies, and had already done her garden tour before I got home from work.

Here is Primavere on the left and Bowl of Craam on the right

I remember my first peony, Pillow Talk. I took more pics of that bloom than anything else that year. Lol

My neighbors peony opened yesterday. Not certain of the name. He says Butter Bowl but I'm not so sure.

Cora Louise is gorgeous! As are of all them! My tree peony is the only one open right now. The herbaceous ones are not far behind.

Annette, beautiful photos. Hurray! I have wanted Walter Faxon for a while, but I haven't gotten him yet. I love seeing that you have one. Cora Louise Lovey dubby

Hanakisoi at last!!! I hope you will take a pic when it fully opens (if it does, two of mine never did!). Zencat, your neighbour's yellow peony is gorgeous, too.

That's how H. has been for the last week. It may not open more.

The man next door was given all his peonies by his son. He has Bowl of Beauty and a NOID. His are all blooming whereas mine have not. They are in the same spot in front of our identical homes and get the same everything and yet... Confused He is going to share his yellow with me this year. Hurray!

PH is the same, as well as age. Ammendments are the same too because he has me do his when i do mine. Only difference is cultivar.
