What a great assortment of plants!! I could live right there! (what do you do if it's windy?)
Now, what is that to the right of and a little in front of the Bowiea volubulis?
What is the small round one in front of the E. milottii?

Glad you find them interesting. Smiling
to the right of and a little in front of the Bowiea volubulis - that would be Cibirhiza albersiana, in the process of starting new growth.
- and the tiny round one is a Lophophora williamsii.

Actually, they are pretty stable in windy weather. The deck is very protected. I will take some of the plants off the railing, that's about all.

Kathy, good question. Evenings and weekends in double time! Essentially I am now usually 3 days "on" and 4 days "off".... Smiling

Thanks!

Ken, my plants enjoy the vacation outdoors over the Summer here in this climate ( most of the time) and it is easier on me too.
Besides, comes Spring, that greenhouse really needs a good scrubbing.
And - it is good exercise for me.... I think.....

Epiphyllum oxypetalums and Epi phyllanthus are now also outside/on the Deck - after I gave the plants a good trimming. There is no need to let the anchoring/long skinny growth take off. (Actually those also got trimmed a few times during the Winter.)

Ackermannii is beautiful! Hilarious! My climbers on oxtpetalum went up and over the 10' block wall, looking for sun! Epi crenatum finaly opened up a few nights ago. It's a night bloomer, but the flowers last a few days. Bad pic due to crowded conditions....Thumb of 2011-05-14/ctcarol/697095

Those Epis are lovely. I think I have one but it has never bloomed. I'll have to get a photo of it and get a positive ID from you experts. It has very big leaves.

My two antique clivia's are blooming this month..I'm still waiting on the youngster..a yellow
one that's 7 years old to bloom. These plants are from the early 80's and are mealy bug
infested...but still put on a nice show.

They look great Lindsey, you'd never know they had bugs.....I especially detest mealy bugs.

It turns out my Epi didn't change colour after all.....it lasted for about 4 days though and has 3 more blooms coming Thumbs up
