I am having a great time on days like this. I do have things I want to do outside, but there are more important things to do inside. So, now me, myself and I are having a disagreement as to where we should be. In or out.......it is 98 deg. in the greenhouse, that is how hot the sun is and the shade cloth is on so you know it is hot. There is a beautiful breeze, cool and refreshing but not in the greenhouse. Grumbling

Spent all day outside, so far. I'm trying to get as much as possible done out there because for the next two and 1/2 weeks I'll have stay over guest. On August 23rd I'll have my annual friends and family get together.......food, drinks, music, fireworks and games. We go from 12 noon til 11 pm. The house fills up with those who can't make it home and the property sometimes has tents and small RV's on it while the extra floor space anywhere inside has air mattresses. We have a pre party party on the Friday before for all those who come to help set up the canopies, chairs, tables, bar and games. Some stay over on Saturday night and they become part of the clean up crew. I keep them well fed so they are usually very happy.

Sounds great Teri. Those big parties can be a lot of work but so worth it usually. Good luck. Send pictures.

Sun is shining and the weather is beautiful. A bit too hot to be out in the sun too long, but great day for spraying the trees and watering of course....have fun. See you later. Hmmmm this would be a good beach day. Hilarious!

I've hooked up the hose end sprinklers. I've been hand watering at the roots of everything, but I'm getting too busy for that.

Bright and sunny here! Ankle still healing so still hard to get out there and do much. I've been hand watering a few things that look thirsty.

Last year I turned my ankle and I walked with a limp and pain for about six months. It seemed forever and xrays showed no break, but I had a heck of a time getting it to heal. I finally used some stuff we use on the racehorses and it worked. Rolling on the floor laughing

Hilarious! Racehorses, huh? Too funny! Hilarious! Well, I started PT for it this week. They think I have some partially torn ligaments. I'm glad I'm doing the PT--it's very helpful.

Actually my chiropractor used cold laser on it for me and it worked really well. It takes awhile.

My PT is using cold compression in addition to other things. It helps with the swelling. I'm afraid my chiropractor wasn't very helpful with the ankle. Sad

When I tore up my ankle, the doctor told me that PT would only aggravate it and keep it from healing. He put me into a boot for a while and the restriction of movement did give it a chance to heal.

Me too Rose and then the chiropractor began using cold laser and it worked really great. I hated that stupid boot because I am so short and it was too long so we ended up using a strong bandage and something I bought from a foot place that fit up over the ankle. Worked for me.

Well, I managed to get out and do some work in the garden today, so definite progress.

Seems like there are so many different types of ankle injuries! Sounds like you guys really had a rough time with yours. Sad

My Ortho guy told me that the "shreded" ligaments in my ankle could be repaired with surgery. However, the recovery is long and painful and at my age, I won't be needing strong ankles for roller blade or skiing anymore. He just asks me to wear shoes with good support, which I do once in a while!

Makes sense, Teri! Can't say I've roller-bladed recently either. Hilarious! I'm a true believer in comfortable, supportive shoes.
