WAH! I am SO jealous!

We got none at all last night. At least it's cooler. And rain is still in the forecast.

Yesterday evening I even brought my kale seedlings inside because it was just too hot for them! This is my problem with starting kale for a fall crop, always always. I seem to manage to hit the weather just wrong, every time. But I still have hope for the kale too. Green Grin!

We have thunder, and cloud cover. So, quite possibly this might just signal rain.

*pleeeeeeeeze?*

Sticking tongue out

I'm sure it will work, it's just a bit delayed.

In other words, that was a sprinkle only. But there are more "chances" and "scattereds" and the like, over the next days, so somewhere in there is our soak.

Hope it comes for you sooner or later! I'm beginning to think it's all falling on us, and then the clouds are all empty by the time they reach you! Whistling

My sister in North CArolina said they got four inches downtown the other day. It looks like the rain surrounds us but we are in some kind of dry bubble.

Very weird.

The thunderstorms miss us every day, also. I've given in to overhead watering at least every other day. If this were spring I'd be in for plenty of fungus and black spot on roses, malva, hibiscus and etc. The forecast calls for thunderstorms this afternoon and tomorrow. We'll see.

It's a touch cooler here, at least morning and evening. Midday is still hot. And yes, more humid.

I am watering. Moving the sprinkler(s) around.

The weather has been hot and humid and typical August in New Jersey. A cold front is due here on Sat. and then the weather will change and the temps will drop to the 70s and feel like Fall is here. Hurray!

It's been soooo hot and humid here for the past few days--temps in the 90s and humidity that feels like a sauna. Sticking tongue out Sure wish the temps would break, rain or no!

I hate hot and sticky. Most summers here are far too humid. We have been very lucky this summer that mostly it has not been so humid most of the time.

It's been decent here too. Not terribly hot nor terribly humid, for most of the season. Just freakin' dry!

For us, it was right after I sprained my ankle that it switched to more comfortable humidity, so I never got to enjoy it! Glare

I am here to say..............enough of this hot and humid crap. Today the storms are to move in and blow it away. Hate the storms, but it is better when the end result is cooler temps.

Oh, yes, If you wonder where I am, I am now in my "work" mood. I have to get busy on the advertising and website of the farm, plus my stores. It is almost Fall and now is my busy time doing what I was trained to do. Advertising and Marketing, so off I go. If anyone needs me please feel free to tmail me or email me at [email protected]. Have a great day. This is the only thread in MAG I am active on just now. Unless I have something special to show you all.
