Some new hanging baskets Ed bought me over the weekend. All ten bucks a piece.

Dividing irises for our club sale. I had to break off for Dr. appointment & he sent me to hospital for an X ray of my sore shoulder. then had to buy food. I was able to finish up but find it more difficult to write the name on the iris foliage as the day goes on.

I really need to do my iris. heat and humidity is really getting to me this year and I haven't even started. Am I getting to the too late point Lucy?

Not if you do it soon. The main thing in our climates is to get the irises holding onto the ground before winter. If not strongly anchored, they will heave over winter.

Got a shot into my shoulder this afternoon. Doc said try that or live with it. I am tired of living with it. Extreme case of tendinitis. glad that it isn't a tear, but oh my!

We are weeding. At least until the sun came out this afternoon & drove me inside until later. Rolling my eyes.

How long is the rose season? Last time I was there in early July the roses seemed to be quite active.

Dear Lucy, June is a great time for them and then July. However this year we have had four blooms of them this year, and there maybe another one. The Roses next door are in full bloom at the moment, and a lot more are budding up.
Regards.
Neil.

I've been trying to get pics from my gardens but the battery on the camera won't hold a charge. Guess it is time to break down and buy a new battery..........

Cherie, Harrier, would be excellent, areas and requires off with no driveway, and my delayed dad - in - law proved helpful on it, and we saw it's first journey at Marlborough Air Display, same when Harmony had it's first journey at Marlborough, you desired to goose when it came over low, that was something.
