Group hug Scarlet. Keeping track of parents is hard.
Today was the first weeding I've done because we've had lots of rain and everything was super muddy.

Thanks Lucy! Sending you more rain! Yes it's hard no matter what you do. You think you're on the right path only for it to be wrong. Go figure.

It's cooler and damp. Monday we'll return to the 60s. I think tomorrow I'll try and get the carrots in dirt and maybe some peas. Darn rabbits.

Ok in about 1/2 hour the great cut out commences. I have to recheck two measurements on kid1 and have 2 added to my own. I hope this works well.

I've got to get some baking done as well! Always something here!

Happy birthday Lucy!

Mornin all!

Today will find me busy at the sewing machine. And the doctors office. I hope I can whip through theses dresses and make some nice looking things.

I noticed a lot of taller sprouts in the hut. May have to do some more switcheroo with the basement and the shorter sprouts back up here and taller down there. Will see how many tall ones I have and move things around.

My last box hasn't shipped and I don't want to be that person and reach out and say where is it. I'll be patient when i don't want to be.

Need to find out where my medicine is located. I don't think it got sent where I asked it to be sent. Grrr. I'll see if time permits and allows me to pick up while I'm at the other clinic. I'll kind of go past this one on my way home.

Alrighty, I'm still waking. Need some good thoughts, mom's stressing me out. Will see if she responds to the new med and if not we may be at the end.

Have a good Thursday!

First of my 2 dresses cut out. Yay! Had enough fabric and hope it goes together well once home. I have a second hunk of fabric to make the same type of dress. Good to have options and also get myself covered right?

Said hello to my plants and sprinted back upstairs need to go get the kid for the doctor.

I need to bake for a church even this weekend. I don't want to. I should be sewing my dresses, I don't want to. I just got back from taking kid1 to clinic. It's an hour each way. I think I'd like a nap!

I just popped downstairs and most of my zinnias and marigolds are up! Yay! I'll pull them off the mats here shortly. Then the fan will go on instead.

Maybe I'll rest for a bit and peruse the garden magazines on my library app. I'll give myself a slight break for the moment!

Lovely bloom! How many of your parents bred irises do you have in your garden? What a fun inheritance!

AM: finally! The first tray of cookies have hit the oven. I have one more batch after this one to get done. Hopefully they turn out and our tasty. This is my usual go to recipe. Generally they work each time except every so often when they really flatten out. Ah well, they still taste good.

I'm dealing w allergies today. My eye hurts something good. I don't need that at all!

Once cookies are done and set aside and my mess cleaned up, I'll move to sewing, well cutting out as I have the last dress to cut out. But plans will get scuttled again as the hubs wants me to follow him to his parents as we've been borrowing their spare. I guess I'll sew tomorrow afternoon.

The cookies are good! Three votes say yay!

Suns finally FINALLY nosing back out. We have frost warnings tonight which is fine, everything is still in the house. Next week I might look at moving stuff on out slowly. Will see.

Did I ever say my garlic looked good? It's up!

Well off to pull the next tray out of the oven and get the next batch mixed.

My famous chocolate chip. One of the secrets is whenever I have shared the recipe the cookies never turn out like mine! Rolling on the floor laughing

Last batch in the oven and both my hubs and kid2 keep asking to sample. I gave them each one but I noticed a sly grin from kid2 …

Sun is really out now. Yay. Trees are leafing out and with it comes the darn pollen and well it's driving my eyes bonkers.

Maybe tonight instead of sewing I'll move the dahlias around. Small ones back upstairs and tall ones downstairs. I should name my dahlias the yoyo bunch.

I did, these I bought a month ago before the big rise in this area. Sad when your baking supplies cost 2 gallons of gas or vice versa. Whistling

Will be sprinting to the ILS soon after I get the last cookies to the cooling racks. I'll clean up when I get home.

Happy evening!

Cold and windy here. Worst of the storms petered out before hitting here but we still got some rain. Not alot but some is better than none.

Hoping my brother comes out this weekend to take apart what needs off on the boat and trailer so we can measure and I get new parts ordered. I'm past the point of waiting weeks at a time to get stuff done although in his defense he's had his hands full with one of the boys due to a workplace accident and emergency surgery to reattach tendons.

Mornin friends!

The suns sticking its nose out today! I have a ton to get done today. The church help this morn, then I'll pick up my MIL and we'll head to the nursery and see what we can find. She's after veg only and I'm looking to see what I can buy next week when I have time to think and I don't want to load up the house while I will be gone this weekend and leave it in care of the hubs. Might not be wise and he'll say there is too much to care for.

But we can look and see what may need to come home later. Because we all need plants!

So lots to do today, more mom stuff so I need to get that done too. Whew. I need about 15 more hours and 10 of me to get done what I would really like done.

No dice, it's all on me.

Happy day all!
