Weather was beautiful and near 80 today. Tomorrow's high is only supposed to be 60 with rain so quite a drop in temperature.

I think we topped out at 89 today. The air early this morning had just a hint of fall in it and it was a delicious feeling ! May drop into the 60's tonight. Sadly we will be back to the mid 90's by Saturday but gonna enjoy this little tease !

Enjoy it while it's there Linda. Teasers give you strength to hang in there until the real thing comes.

Gloomy here today, but "cool". We may have high 40s this weekend at night Not ready....MUST do something to winterize the cover on the GH...like yesterday. Oh well, my DS is out on Sunday and hopefully can help me trouble shoot it after he does what he MUST first.

Well we have fog here this morning. It's been quite awhile since we had a foggy day.

I like fog as long as I don't have to drive in it.

Might get rain this afternoon. Fingers crossed...

We had frost last night, birdbath froze, it was 30 degrees when I got up, nice and sunny now and all the way up to 39!

Yeck on that Hard Frost already but good that it warmed up some.

Having trouble imagining a frost already as the tomatoes are still producing at least some still. The Juliet Grape tomatoes are still going really strong.

When we got up this morning we thought sure it would rain and the forecast was for 50%, but now the sun is shining. The forecast for tonight is 80% and maybe something will happen, but I'm not holding my breath. We do need some rain.

We must be having Indian Summer. It was up to 92 in town today when I left work. Fortunately we live way out of town so it feels a lot cooler at home. We have not had rain in awhile. I gave the daylilies a small drink a few days ago. It was all I had time for and since I have over 200 kinds of them it does take some time to water. We are expecting some rain tonight but if we don't get it I will be out there with the hose again. I am praying for the rain.

I have my hoses put away already so hopefully we will get a bit of rain.

Lucky you Linda. I guess you need them year round there.

Indeed we do need them year around. It would be nice to have a season just to hibernate a bit .

Well we finally got some rain. We haven't had any in almost 2 weeks so it was welcome.

We got 17" of rain during the month of September! So I'm waiting for the weather to cool (tomorrow!!) and waiting for the ground to dry out a bit. We have now exceeded out average rainfall for the year!
