So do I. Tonight I had a glass of Amarone with some good Asiago cheese while we watched a football game.

Yep, chocolate and red wine have the same component that is good for the heart. I saw a bottle at the store that was Chocolate Red Wine. Keep thinking I'll try it one day... Sticking tongue out

Hadn't, either, until one day I was going down the aisle with wines when I saw it.

My fondest wine and chocolate combo is Brut Champagne with chocolate covered strawberries. Hadn't thought about this in a few years.

Is that all ? Geesh, I've been exercising and watching what I eat and have already gained three pounds ! I am not going to let myself even believe there is such a thing as chocolate in the whole wide world !

I ran out of produce ... only half a head of cabbage in the refrigerator ... and had to go to the local market for some veggies and fruit until I go down the mountain next week for grocery shopping. The only things that caught my eye as "good to eat" were the things I am trying to avoid for a while. Once I have lost some weight, including those three pounds, I'll let myself have them in moderation. One bite of chocolate will kill all inclination to moderation ...

Smiles,
Lyn

Lyn, if you are exercising, you might gain before you lose as the muscle tissue is built up. Smiling

Debra ...

You are probably right about the muscle weight. I had to add hip exercises to my morning routine because my hip joint was screaming out loud when I went for walks ... weird, it didn't bother me when I was stacking wood. After two weeks, I've reduced the pain in the joint, so I know the muscles are working better, so I may have gained some muscle weight.

Also, fall chores a pretty labor intensive.

Running out of fresh produce is one of my big gripes about moving up here. Yes, I do freeze a lot of stuff, but it's not the same as fresh produce.

The good news is that I also don't have any junk food in the house.

But you guys have had me dreaming about chocolate ! Not good.

Smiles,
Lyn
