Seems I missed this one earlier!

edit: So much so that I put the wrong picture on the post. Must be getting CRS, or maybe I am trying to do too much!

LOL! Greg will correct it, I'm sure. In the meantime here is a double vision of Tasco's 'New Vision'.

Yes, I wish they would grow here. Sighing!

The only AB I grow is Suspect. I think it is a Johnson creation. I need one or two more but I want exotic looking ones with dramatic coloring.

No lacking drama there!!
I'm going to see how the AB I got this past year is going to do before I jump in feet first and order a truckload... Although 'Sand Dancer' and 'New Vision' are certainly breathtaking! (I will be strong, I will be strong, I will be strong....) Hilarious!

I really like New Vision too...as well as Aztec Prince. I'm getting my feet wet with the historic AB Oyez. I may try one of the newer ones too, just to see how well they do.

Oyez is not so easy to grow. If you grow it successfully, you'll probably be able to grow most ABs.

I am trying it, coming from Superstition this year so we'll see. Probably the best ones to try would be where comments indicate something like "good grower" I would think. Shrug!

Thanks Donald, that's good to know. Maybe I'll add a couple others in case it doesn't do well...and I'll know not to be discouraged and give up on ABs if it doesn't thrive. Thank You!

Marilyn, I see that you're located in Central California. In that location you should be able to grow all but the most difficult ABs with a high degree of success. I think you wouldn't be disappointed with most of the Superstition ABs. Here I've been particularly impressed with New Vision, Sand Dancer and Exotic Treasure as strong growers from Tasco's intros, but most anything growing for them should also grow well for you whether it was hybridized there or not. They have a good cross section of ABs available. I would hate to see all ABs judged against the performance of Oyez. Oyez is a remarkable and timeless AB, but it can be a fractious grower. I do hope it does well for you. I think the Oyez bloom is a work of art.

Yes, I fell in love with Oyez...so we'll see how it does here...but I like dealing with Superstition and am hoping I get to see their ABs in bloom this spring. From the photos I like New Vision and Aztec Prince....Sand Dancer too...so I guess I need to look up Exotic Treasure! Thanks for the information and encouragement! I tip my hat to you.
