Wow Leslie, you have a wonderful collection of Burseen irises. I think you deserve the title of ATP "Queen of Burseen"! Hilarious! Hilarious! Thanks for the information on your sources. Thank You! I'd like to add a few more Burseen irises this year.

Arlyn, I had never heard of Matthew's Irises before. I gather they specialize in the historics. From your review it looks like he is great to work with! No website though...makes it a little harder to find out what he carries. Shrug!

Thanks Marilyn!

Greg - yes, I noticed all the Innerst. A very nice selection!

Great Greg! Thanks! Now I have to find photos of them. I haven't checked to see if Rick and Roger have added any new photos lately. I'll get there... Big Grin

Arro Reece is quite nice, and I do want to get Cranfil's Gap and Cow Patty. Most of the 2014's I haven't seen yet. Thanks Burseen enabler!

You said you were interested. I just informed of a possible "pick up" location! Rolling on the floor laughing

I soooooo love the name: Cow Patty. Can you imagine someone going through your garden a saying' "What is that?!?" and you having to reply: "Cow Patty." Rolling on the floor laughing

Exactly!! Rolling on the floor laughing

How are you finding out they have these ones? Are they still carrying Trumped? You said they quit selling several previous cultivars, I wonder if there are Burseens amongst that group. Sad

Arlyn sent me the two lists. Superstition Iris Gardens send them out to their customers; not sure when. I did not get one last year as I was not a customer at that time. Sad

The only photos I have been able to find are Arro Reece, Beth's Blessing, Cow Parry, and Cranfil's Gap. Are there any others out there that I am missing? (like maybe Bubble Baby, Dancin' Fool, and Smiles At Midnight?)

Marilyn - That is a wide open question! Just which of the 100's of Burseens are you looking to look at?

I was referring to the ones that Superstition is adding...the ones in this list Greg provided.

Thanks for the link to Dancin Fool. I tip my hat to you. The colors look a bit like Trumped but with yellow standards instead of white. Pretty one...though I think since I'll be going to visit them during bloom time I'll wait to see it in person. Smiling

Well, as I told you all before, I got a gift certificate from Stout's for Christmas. My first order seemed to be heavy on pinks and light colors, so I thought I would go bolder with the gift certificate. Here is what I came up with:

MDB Dragon Flamedart http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files...

Micro Burst

Italian Master

Mono Mania (of course a Burseen - it's me ordering!)

Spooky

Terracotta Bay

Spring Madness (which I seem to have...)

Chocolatte'

Thanks to Brad for so many beautiful pics of my picks!
