Love those sedum heads emerging. I wonder if now would be a good time to cut of a few of those to propagate?

I had not thought of that. If it is a good time I get a few more Thunderheads growing.

I always have taken cuttings but that's a long processes. I may try but not until February. Seems you could take a small knife and cut through down into the soil. Then you would not disturb the rest of the plant.

That was what I was thinking, Julia. Maybe there might be some roots already on the individual new stem under the soil (being optimistic here). I think I will get a little snoopy tomorrow and get a closer look. If no roots now maybe in Feb. or March. I haven't tried this before.

Hi Theodora, Welcome! to ATP. So glad you found your way here.
Your plant looks familiar to me, but I can't place it. Maybe some of the others here can help us ID it. Meanwhile, you can start a new thread in the Plant ID forum. There are people all around the world that are very good at looking at the fine details of a plant, and coming up with an ID.

I see you are growing it indoors. Does it grow outdoors in your area during winter?

Sorry for the slow response! And thank you for having me! I honestly don t kow if it\s ok for it to be outside in winter. It was a present from someone from the countryside and I got the impression that they keep it on the porch in a large container, but Im not sure.

Hopefully we will be able to ID it or you.
And I just noticed that I gave you the wrong link for getting help with identifying your plant. I am so sorry. *Blush*
Here is the link you need.
I will go to your other post and ask Dave to move your post to the Plant ID forum.

I am hoping we can solve the mystery. I would love to know more about your plant. Then you can also add it to the database. Hurray!

Hello Theodora welcome!! Your plant is lovely, I do think it is some type of sedum...it looks similar to this one...the one I have looks more green than many pics in the database show...but there is this one (all green)

can't wait to see what you find out!
Cheers
I tip my hat to you.

Hello everyone,I hope yall have been doing great!! I'm so excited, i am going to go out and begin to clean the rock garden on monday as long as weather permits. It has been so long since i have been able to even get to it (with a broken leg),i am hoping i don't find a lot of dead/rotted plants from being under leaves for a few months. Crying Sighing! I didn't even get my tall sedum cut back when they finished. I have a lot of work & the hubby is probably going to have people riding by to time how long i'm outside. I have been so sore & with a few broken bones just healed i won't be doing to much so i shouldn't have any problem.
One of the last plants i got was a sedum called 'lemon coral' i believe. It got to cold one night but i brought it inside the next day.I don't remember if i ever posted anything about it or any pictures to double check the ID? I am going to see what photo's i can find & save them to this computer.I hate that i lost so many pictures but hopefully i can find a lot of them on here. Hurray!
A green thumb comes only as a result of the mistakes you make while learning to see things from the plants point of view!!

A broken leg? When did that happen?
I am so glad to know that you are healing. Group hug
Have fun in your garden, just don't get carried away. Maybe you will have time to take one or two photos?

Jelinda, are you already starting into early stages of spring in your area? Just wondering if the beginning of new growth is appearing yet. Hurray!

Hey Jojoe glad to see you on here!! I haven't been on ATP much for a week or so, which is why I haven't responded to your post but it is good to see you on here!! Like your hubby probably tells you "Don't over do Whistling it in the garden!" nodding
