Kniphofia sarmentosa sending out more torches now..counting about 9 stalks. This would be the best I ever got. Now I understand..I guess I have underwatered it before, this recent rains seems to have awakened them a lot Learning something new
I used to only get 1 or 2 stalks.

How old is the plant tarev?

It is now 3 years old.

Well, maybe it's partly the "sleep, creep, leap" phenomenon too.

And our weather here is really dry, drier, and driest, though thanks to the recent rains, it helps the plants a bit.

Brought downstairs the blooming Onc Hilda Plumtree 'Purple Wings', it will take the place of the Onc 'Sharry Baby' that is done with its bloom:


And a new bloom show has just started: Clivia miniata 'Solomone Yellow' has started to open up! will post much more later when all buds are open

So pretty and so nice to see in the dead of winter here.
