That's because I got the name wrong, Char -- it's ELEMENTAL FORCES, and I just changed it in my post. It was quite a large bloom, but I ended up giving the plant away.

Really beautiful E's, Char and Boyd... And that reminds me that I also have EXPLOSION IN THE PAINT FACTORY -- I'll have to add it to my post.

I've seen plenty of those in my life, Will, and tried hard not to step on them! None of them are as pretty as yours, they usually look like a spiny brown chestnuts under the water.

Honestly I don't have it either. I've just all ways find myself considering it.

KYgal, 'Electric' is very pretty! I have 'Megan's Love', which is a lemon yellow, but it has that creped texture and I really like it too!

Vickie, I wasn't familiar with "Megan's Love" - looked at data base - SO similarly beautiful - but newer and taller, slightly larger bloom than Electric, but they could almost be twins! I have always been attracted to thick, substantial blooms. Electric multiplies nicely for me, so it is scattered throughout my beds, and I have shared several.

The yellows are under apprciiateed.
Atalanta Moonlight and Omomuki are both favorites in my garden.

I agree bc I am guilty. For me, yellows have to have special visual characteristics that are noticable from a distance, to wind up in my gardens. 🤷

ie., crazy ruffled or teeth edges, or if they are UF's, or if they have a flush of pink or peach. Or any combination of the above. Just my own personal taste.

There are a lot of "blah" yellows out there but the ones that stand out all have a special something that I can't quite describe.
