@Henhouse Sherry, I was humming and singing to myself in the garden the other day ..."how's the Mustang running?" Paused for a minute thinking where'd I hear that? Then realized it was you!
"...and don't think the garden loses its ecstasy in winter. It's quiet, but the roots are down there riotous." Rumi
I need that answer, too. Is it a steep slope between the 2?
Some things new for me going to bloom. Tiger Lily.
A daylily seedling grown from seeds sent by Arlyn! Sorry about the fuzzy. I was too excited to get another picture.
Are you sure I sent you a daylily, Celia ? You must be confusing me with some OTHER good looking "plant guy" (it happens a lot )
As to the "two level" gardening....it's really not so strange.....I know a couple who grow plants in their basement!. ....funny thing is there is LOTS of room in their yard ....I wonder why they use the basement
Muddymitts said:Well -- how interesting, Rita! So two separate yards.................do you keep a lawnmower at each level?
I don't own a lawnmower. The lawn service comes and cuts and trims the grass every two weeks,. The guys just carry the lawn mower up the stars to the backyard.
It is steep. No grass on the hill as it is a woodsy garden full of shrubs. You could never simply just walk up or down but I do get in parts of it to dump lots of mulch to keep away the weeds.
