Dianne! That is the way it goes. Seeing the blooms in person always makes a difference. At the beginning of my obsession, one of the diggers at the daylily farm tried for two years to talk me into buying 'Mary's Gold'. It was pretty, but it was gold and I didn't want it. I finally broke down and got it and am glad I did. It really adds a punch of brightness, however, the scapes are top branched.

I guess I have never posted my Y daylilies, both of which are yellow! I just got Yada Yada Yellow last year, so have not seen it in bloom yet.

Yellow Ducky - I really need to move this one. I never have liked that yellow up against the house siding.

Thanks, Dianne! It is a hard one to photograph. The sun blows out the color, but it loses vibrancy if I try to take a picture when it is cloudy.
