I love them all, Jim. Perhaps I should grow more Den. Both of those (compared to my 4' tall one) appear to be some sort of compact growers.
Is the Bsn. Maikai the 'Mayumi'? I traded some orchids for several divisions of the 'Mayumi' and it appears those divisions are going to really be fast growers.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
Blc Dan O'Neil 'Jubilee' HCC/AOS, is opening now. I got this one some years ago from Waldor Orchids and I like its growth habit too, as the plant clump stays fairly tight.

Now, that one sure will brighten up your gloomy winter days! Wow, what a great color. I like the slight rosy edging on the lip and petals.
A surprise bloomer for me today, a tiny valentine, I guess. This is Howeara Lava Burst 'Puanani' and I lost all but this one piece last summer to black rot. It seems to be happy on its cork mount. I always have problems getting a good picture of this one as the flowers stay cupped, and don't open wide. This flower also has another fat bud right in front of the cup . .. anyway:

I have found, at least with the large commercial growers I buy from, that the vast majority of growers/sellers simply won't change their labels. Time, expense, and well, some effort is involved to change hundreds or even thousands of labels. I custom-make all my own labels, and it is difficult even for me to do so, and I'm only laminating a couple of dozen labels at a time.

Some mixed stuff today - I took the IPad in the greenhouse, but I should use the camera on the tiny blooms as the teensiest on the Oberonia toppingii are beyond the IPad camera. The small plant did fine last Summer as it added 7 new fans.
Dendrobium anceps is starting up as mentioned
And regarding the distichous growth, on the other end of the spectrum size-wise, Angraecum distichum shows some blooms
Lc Loveknot v. coerulea starts up again
The spike on the Laelia mixta is a bit crooked, it being heliotrope didn't help.
And if you look at the second to last picture, you see a piece of Dendrobium distichum, sort of smaller version of Den anceps.
