and then methought that hydrangas would be prettiful so I made some out of bath poofs


and of coursley weaving leavings would be luvly too

The funniest thing about this project was that I used to wear high heels every day in and for business... these were a working pair of shoes. When I decided to plant them, I kind of thought that this was a fiiting goodbye to corporate life. DH Tony came home from work the day I had planted and put them in the garden, and he really never misses anything I add to the garden, well, he sat down in the garden and within like 10 seconds he said "so is that your goodbye to corporate america?" LOL! Here's a close up...

I received my prize from Charleen on Saturday, but things have been crazy, so I apologize for posting pictures so late. Pictures don't do these awesome prizes justice.

She also sent me a cooling band. Soak in water and the crystals puff up and hold the "cold" in. It's wonderful for working outside in this heat. And check out the cute frog material!

Deb the leafs are made from weaving braided and knotted long pipe cleaners together. I just made up designs as I went along so each leaf is different. I found it easiest to pinch and mold one braid or twist into the leave shape and then weave and knot into and around the shape. Does that make sense? Let me know if not and I'll take pics of the steps.

ps I luv pipe cleaners cuz they are inexpensive, easy to use and kind about fixing oops AND no glue is involved.

valleylynn I am garden art challenged. Most of my ideas turn out 'interesting' rather than 'artfull' Methinks maybe we could have a thread for the challenged with really easypeasy stuff. Like how to add to, alter or arrange otherguy's things to make them work for us
