Hi Sherry,
Yes indeed that is Cytisus scoparius,'Scotch Broom',..when you said ablaze that is the best description,..i have had people in the USA tell me they are invasive so they obviously are thinking of the French species,..this week i took a cutting as my present ones are getting tall with less and less blooms three foot from the bottom so i intend planting the cutting at the base to fill the gap.

We had snow in 2010 which killed most of the Yucca's in the midlands,..luckily mine survived,..being fairly walled in helped protect them and they are thriving now.

Soooo you should be doing your taxes!,..viewing one or more of my videos is more relaxing lol,..thank you for doing so.

Me, too. Hilarious! I am continually surprised by the ones I have. I rarely ever offer supplemental water, we have been in a serious drought for the last five years, and, yet, they keep giving me beautiful blooms. Last Fall, I had to remove Julia Child because of Rose Rosette disease, which I had never even heard of before, and it was like losing a friend. Thankful that none of the remaining roses show any signs of it.

Debra, we lost a rose bush last fall also to rose rosette disease. What a horrible disease, with no cure once the rose gets it.

Roses do well in containers for many years.. I'll admit to buying many over the years without having a clue where they would be going...
I've got many blooming here already.. I love them too Smiling

It is a lot longer than the picture shown as i cropped it to show a better view in order to try and identify it,..that particular wall produces ferns as well.
