Yes, thank the Godess, there are a number of people I can call...the latest one is my friend Carlota and she is being very kind and letting me call her a lot!
To the tune of more tha four hours a day...
Glad to hear there are people you can call in this awful time for you.
A flame point, of course! I don't know why I said lilac point when I've been recommending flame points to everyone for years and years. Good news about the litter box. It will be good for emergencies, and for training any new kitties you might acquire.
Yelling at the universe is probably a good response for now.
I have discovered if I come from Cubits I am able to get on...Nancy and Zuzu I have spoken to..and Nancy, please believe me,I was slurring baadly due to being very sleepy. I managed to sleep 4 hours this afternoon so maybe I am less hard to understand. I plan to test that...as I am going out to get something to eat.

Yea! You are back! I am glad you can sleep; nothing works well if you can't get any real rest. I will send you a Tree mail to see whether you can access that as well.
I hope that you can find some help in the community such as a local church or social agency? It would be helpful if there were someone who could stop by and talk with you or maybe help you with things.
I am sure your cats are also good company.
I have lost people before their time. I try to be thankful for the times we had together instead of sad for their loss. It isn't always a comfort, but I would still choose the time we had together even if it meant the enduring pain of losing them.
If anyone wants to call Melva, send me a tree-mail and I'll give you her phone number. She's a lot of fun and is full of good stories, so you'll enjoy the conversation in addition to providing her with support and a diversion.
As for things smoothing out...I have been told my many that is a very long process. Now it is not so good...I will post more later, now I am going back to bed...
Sue just ran across Melva's obituary. She died almost a year ago. I feel bad that I didn't even know she was in hospice care. I last spoke to her a few years ago and she was bedbound but not ill. Just unable to walk and terribly depressed.
I am very sorry to hear that Melva is gone. I have about a dozen of her roses, have thought of her often, and nave missed her ever since she stopped posting here.
I read this about Melva just before going to bed last evening. It was very sad. Although I never knew of her or read any of her posts it would have been wonderful to have become acquainted with her through her posts and pictures. It was apparent that you people on the Rose Forum had become like a family and it is always difficult when one member of the family is lost. You all have many memories of her I am sure.
Is there such a thing as Archives on NGA where I could look back on some of her posts?
I wasn't planning on leaving a message because I never posted with Melva, but, this is the saddest group of posts I've ever read in here. Maybe and I'm hoping that Melva is with Phil now and not suffering anymore.

@tigerpaws
Just click on her user name above in one of her posts and click the
'View posts made by Melva' and then chose either threads started or individual posts.
Thank you Sue, never thought of that. I used to belong to Canadian Gardening Forum (now defunct) and they had an Archives folder, therefore, I thought there may have been something similar here that I missed.
