I'm looking for photos of this rose and all I can find is the one on Help Me Find a Rose.......We have one in Hamilton Square but I can only one picture on-line. Anyone grow this or have photos. Here is ours. I tip my hat to you.

The name of this thread says Princess Marianne, but your new plant proposal said Princess Marianna. Are you sure of the name? There are three photos of Princess Marianna on HMF, but one of them doesn't seem to match the description at all. Your photos also don't match the description ("light pink, ages to white"). Does it have an apple scent? The buds in your photos are much darker than the buds in the HMF photos.

I thought yours might be Queen Margrethe, the parent rose, which has blooms of a deeper pink, but its buds are never as dark as the ones in your photo.

The rose pictured is R. 'Memories' and I think I'll remember it from now on...... The one I submited, twice and what the name of the thread should have read was R. 'Princess Marianna' which bloomed today next to R. 'Memories'. Will give it a wiff and take more photos tomorrow. Here is a bud of Rosa 'Princess Marianna'.

That's a lovely bud.

A name like Memories should be easy to remember, Big Grin although my sister always made me laugh when she couldn't remember the name of Forget-Me-Nots.
