Last summer I finally remembered in time to trim the silver mound...and it made all the difference. Looked good all season without that awful brown hole when it flops. This year the Amethyst in the Snow has done the same thing, but with its flowing habit, trimming it will lose the blossoms. I may try using something like the peony circles next year. It looked so pretty before it flopped!

Here is Angelina sedum. It is low growing and slowly spreads, but very easy to remove. It is an evergreen and gives all seasons color with lots of texture. People either love it or hate it...I'm a lover Big Grin

Colors change from Orange tipped to golden to chartreuse. Soft and rubbery feeling. It does grow upright and bloom but I don't care for the blooms so I snip it back flat. I have it scattered all throughout my beds for a splash of color and texture.

Here are a few pics to give you an idea of the colors....

thanks for the photos of the Angelina! I got some recently and it's nice to see the different colors!

I just bought Angelina! Yay! Vickie your first photo is awesome, I would have bought it just for the colors alone.

This is my first successful year at growing poppies. I was rubbing the petals through my fingers today, soft as silk. Lovey dubby
