Ken, you don't have to be heavily invested in Iris to join us. Smiling

Rob, if you were inclined to toss a few my way, I'd be inclined to take good care of a rhizome from 7, 9, and 15. Big Grin

Rob, I'd bet money that #11 is Indian Chief.
#1 Looks like Crimson King.. have you ruled that out already? Mine are always very early, and occasionally reblooms
#3 is similar to one of my NOIDS... Is there any white around the beard or violet on the std midrib? Mine looks something like a cross between Dutch Master and Amigo's Guitar. Yours also looks a little more modern, but I think I've run across it in my search for a name for mine.

Lacy Snowflake and Laced Cotton come to mind for your white one...

#16... Is the beard blue? and does it ever rebloom?

I immediately thought the same thing for #11. A very common Noid.

Have a few that would like to find their real name.
Thinking Red Can Can for the second one, maybe.

Thank you for your help. Ann

Ann - There are a lot of yellow and whites. How long have you had it? That might narrow the field a bit.

Also - any idea of where you got them. Was it from a vendor?

The red plicata is close to Can Can Red, but I don't think it is a match. The falls are a narrower, older style and it appears to have some lacing on the standards, which Can Can Red does not have. Also have much heavier beards and thicker, darker edge on the falls.

Here is a comparison

Thank you all for your input.
I see the differences between mine and Can Can Red. I also have considered Spiked Punch as a possibility. Any thoughts on that?
The yellow and white came to me mislabeled from a sale in which Iris growers from several cities had donated Iris. It is such a pretty thing. I bought it in 2010.
