Here is a larger view of mystery sedum. Darn the luck I didnt even name it in a multi-plant photo when I first put the combo together.

Do you have any of your old receipts? Was it mail order?
And it looks so familiar.

I put it on plant id and someone said it looked like album, then I remembered an order of Album laconium (sp)

Lynn. I did a Picasa collage of both the aqua basket sedum ( elatinoides ) and the mystery sedum. They look so similar I was wondering if they were the same. I tend to doubt it because the blooms are not the same. The mystery sedum doesnt resemble Album now that I see your image. Leaves arent short and puffy like the album you show.

Just took these today. Recovering from knee replacement surgery,fairly confined to the house.Next week I drive to the grocery store.Its been 6 weeks and I am going nuts

Its the end of the season and still nice during the day so I cleaned up the deck containers.






I am already thinking about what to plant next year. I think an impressive display of dwarf glads will be nice. Hope they will be in bloom mid june. Big party here,I will be 80 in January but dont want to celebrate until nice weather. It's so liberating to be a geezer,I can have my party when I want.
I will combine glads with coleus of course.

If you do not mind I will share with you what I planted to have blooms and full pots in June.......I planted hardy glads last year and they came up in June. The first pic you posted does look like a hardy glad. I do not know when they come up if they are planted in the spring.

The glads are part of my perennial pots so I can cut back on buying annuals every year. For big impact early I used Heucheras (Santa Rosa end of the season sale for 3.99). My early blooms were the Spring Bulbs (Daffodils, hyacinth) and mini roses (picked those up at the grocery store for 2.99).
