So good to see you're okay. I have a friend in Benton, AR. She's seeing tons of nasty weather this year, too.

never even planted any tomatoes this year. Can't finish yard projects because too much rain-ground is too soft to drive, load rock or have soil dumped, ect.
Basically because of the rain I will have to wait until next spring most likely to finish stuff. My daylilies are starting to scape (yay!) and now I don't want to move them. Moved some last fall that didn't root well before winter and heaved and some rotted. So not moving dl again in the fall. I even ran some heat this morning when I got up. I am SO ready for summer to show up... but not sure if it is going to. Hope it doesn't stay soggy and cool most of the summer.

Glad you all made it through those storms. I was watching the radar and is looked pretty nasty.

It was, Tom. Just before it came through I went out to check on the little cat and a raccoon tried to run in the house. That made me think it might be a severe one. A tornado touched down about eight miles south of me but my patch is intact. More rain expected today and throughout the week but as long as the violent weather misses me I will not whine...... too much.

Bonnie, you should get a hard hat like me and we can pretend to be Village People while sitting in the hidey holes riding out the storms.

Not a bad idea. Howevee, I may get a bit attached to it and start wearing it everywhere I go.

I have a hard hat I used to have to wear when I hauled salt water in the oil field. The only thing it was good for was when it hailed! We could have us a grand ole time in the iris gardens with our hard hats on...let them try to figure that one out!

Hmmm! Hard hats?! Rob needs one, to 'compliment" his Tutu ! Or, on the other hand, since the "tutu" was supposed to be "rain dance attire".........he didn't send it to one of you, did he !? Seriously, hope everyone manages to come through this OK ! By the time they get this far, they seem to be pretty weak, and except for a *little* rain, are not problematic.

And..... It is a fact that Lori has not been killed by a comet so perhaps a hard hat would be fitting garden attire.... Or hidey hole wear.

We could! With out tutus and hard hats, I am sure we would be a hit. Of course we would have to be drunk and packing pistols to make it a true redneck affair but what the hell!

I'll bring Jack Daniels, will have to ask Bonnie her preference. My Sig was stolen a few years back, maybe I could borrow one somewhere...

I'm thinking that all three of you -- Lori, Deb and Bonnie -- should have this Iris to commemorate such an event!! Come to think of it, Rob and Tom should have it too!
