Jim, would you mind looking up Bc. Mount Hood 'Orchidglade' AM/AOS x Lc. Maui Treasure 'Lavender Sunset' and tell me whether this was ever registered or has a name change? I have had this single plant for years and I can't even find it listed anywhere, for sale or otherwise.
Thanks.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
Ken, your orchid is still not registered but I did find changes in the parent's names. This orchid is listed as Rlc. Mount Hood 'Orchidglade' AM/AOS x C. Maui Treasure 'Lavender Sunset'.
We arrived home a couple of hours ago so I'll try to post pics tomorrow. It was a nice trip.

Thank you so much for that information, Jim. I doubt it will ever be registered. As I said, other than my plant, it may not even exist any longer. I can't find it. The hybridizer hasn't had the plant for over five years and he says it may be closer to ten years.

Loading problems, I'll try later.
That Gram. scriptum is fantastic, Fred. You have a real specimen there. Ken, these Grammatophylum scriptum orchids are huge. If the spikes are coming out in different directions, they can be over 6 feet across. I think I read somewhere that Grammatophylums are the largest orchids we have.
As you know, I spent last week up in NE Indiana and while there, we went through the Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg Museum. These are elegant automobiles made in the 1930s in Auburn, Indiana. I took lots of pics and will share one here with you. What you are looking at is a 1930 Duesenberg:
Going through this museum was a special treat.
The OC is flush with blooms and here are a few:
(C. Aclandor X C. Pink Elephants) X C. Brabantiae. Great orchid; I wish they would register it.
Bc Binosa 'Key Lime'
Bc. Maikai 'Louise'
This orchid has been called an Epi and a Encyclia and now it is a Prosthechea [Psh.] Green Hornet.
Bratonia [Brat.] Golden Spider (formally a Miltassia)
Bct. Roman Holiday (Ctt. Chocolate Drop x B. nodosa). Nice waxy flowers.
Stellamizutaara [Stlma.] Kelly 'Lea'. Say that three times quickly.
The big elephant in the greenhouse today is Den. White Fairy
Epidendrum [Epi.] ciliare which is sometimes called an Encyclia
