Looks like a pretty good pic to me, and it is so lovely. I think a lot of us are looking for plants that bloom later.

Thanks Larry. I keep finding more older ones that I wouldn't be without. Another one hybridized here in Michigan is HIGHLAND TOWER. It just started blooming yesterday so I guess it would be a ML daylily. AHS says it is a dip but it is definitely a tet. It is nothing fancy but it is a good performer.

Cindy - Very pretty! I like it for the late blooms, too. But I don't actually have it, instead I have a seedling from it. Ironically, the child when blooming recently, exhibited most of the characteristics of So Lovely. (It was crossed with Green Spill.) SL makes a a "lovely" parent! Thumbs up

My seedling bloom (ZZZ15) So Lovely x Green Spill:

You should definitely use it in your hybridizing program!!! Smiling

Edited to add: I like High Tower, too!

Well Becky, I just looked at Tinker's Daylily Database and So Lovely has some really nice registered kids from it, including a lot of Dottie Warrells flowers and Heavenly Angel Ice. Gives me some ideas. I wonder what a cross of So Lovely x Margo Reed Indeed would produce.

Libby (DogNDaylilies) - I need to give you a shout-out for mentioning Miss Becky's Lily Farm link. I looked over what she had and she had several that I wanted that had the 1.0 rust resistance or a good rust resistance rating. So I ordered 4 and picked out my bonus plant. All for a very good price. Well, let me tell you .... the plants were at LEAST a double fan, most were more. Looked great, nice and healthy! AND ... get this! She sent me an additional 5 more bonus plants that were all at least a double fan (except for one nice sized single fan). She said that she was filling an order for another customer that day and so added some spiders/ufs into my order and hoped that was ok! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!???? Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

So I paid for 4 and got 10 total! So let's see ... I got more than double what I paid for! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

I don't know if I just got lucky that day to receive so many or if she is known to be generous with bonuses, but boy! am I ever glad I ordered when I did!

Here is what I got:

Those I paid for:
Beautiful Edgings (This one was #1 on my want list for 1.+ rust rating)
Planet Max (I just HAD to have this one)
Gadsden Goliath
Emperor Butterfly

Spanish Sketch - Was the bonus plant I picked out. The price was more than 3 of the ones I ordered.

And here is what she added to my order:
Apple Swirl
Lovely Pink Lady
Persian Pattern
Judge Roy Bean
Duchess of D'Orleans

I have gotten a better deal from someone here on the forum who sent me free daylilies and someone else who is going to be mailing me a "box" of named daylilies for a very cheap price, but for a online daylily nursery that I had never heard of ... I am very impressed!

So thank you Libby for name dropping that nursery! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

This is what they looked like when they arrived. (Actually they were more green but they sat all night and will be potted up today ... until I can finish yet another daylily bed before I go back to work in a few more weeks!)

So it looks like the lady from Florida (-me-) who was only able to afford seed grown daylilies has now gotten into growing named and registered daylilies! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

OH! Adding a review for her in the ATP Greenpages was the 1st thing I did before even posting here! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

Yes, her prices were outstanding and even more so when I received more than what I was expecting. I am a very happy camper (err... gardener)! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Larry - I received 2 large fans of Planet Max. She may very well have sold out of that one. It is a popular one, especially when folks see it here on the Daylily Forum threads being mentioned numerous times.

You may (or may not) realize it, but ... far MORE folks are reading threads on ATP, but have not posted. So we have a group of people here that post pretty regularly, but there are a whole LOT more just reading. I am sure that I was not the only one who immediately checked into Libby's name dropping of Miss Becky's Lily Farm. Whistling Thumbs up

Those of you who grow 'So Lovely', does yours have problems with spring sickness? Spring Sickness looks like this for anyone not familiar with it:

So happy for you Becky. Hurray! You got some real nice Daylilies.

I grow So Lovely but have not noticed spring sickness on that one. I usually do get it every year, but not always on the same plants. I had far less plants effected by it this year than in years past. We had a very mild winter and an early spring, wonder if that's why?

I can't wait to see you new daylily beds next year Becky! I hadn't heard of any of them except Beautiful Edgings (which I have) and Planet Max. So I just had to look them up. They are all so pretty. I could tell right away that Emperor Butterfly was a Munson. I have Sovereign Queen and just love it Thumbs up
