For the spring there were a group of four lilies introduced. Apparently they were named differently in Europe and the USA.
'Topspecs' = 'Bubble Bath'
'Jaybird' = 'Raspberry Ribbons'
'Spectator' = 'Cherry Swirl'
'Solution' = 'Cherry Splash'
These were names from H.W. Hyde & Son respectively B&D Lilies. Pardalinum pointed to this in the database entry to 'Raspberry Ribbons'.
Later on I saw these four being sold by a company called Fluwel. Only now one of them, 'Topspecs', was apparently renamed to 'Tigerspecs'.
The main listing from Fluwel is down(it's not season for them as Dutch lily bulbs are mainly sold in the spring), so no images there, you can however see an image on here:
https://www.facebook.com/FLUWE...
Now the same four appears here:
http://www.vws-flowerbulbs.nl/.... Tigerspecs has again replaced Topspecs. Without a picture so far.
My 'Tigerspecs' are placed in afternoon shade and we have had a cool cloudy summer, so colours are very strong.
The question is, is the variation in photographs, caused by environmental issues or is 'Tigerspecs' another cultivar?
I suspect 'Topspecs' were renamed to 'Tigerspecs'. Would be good to get some input
