Iris Sisters also carries a good selection of Blyth's Iris. I got beautiful Iris from her last year, as well as a bucket full of bonuses. I got far too many this year to place another order.. But I believe she accepts orders into September, if you realized you didn't get one you *had* to have..

Thanks Tom and sherry, I have been eyeing the tempo two website now for a while. I have a list. Just haven't broken down yet to do it. And sherry. I LOVE IRIS SISTERS! Robin is wonderful! And she carry a ton of blyth irises! I placed 2 orders with her this year. I'm afraid to do another one. I'm pretty sure she would think what is going on with this lady. Lol
Her prices seem a little higher, but when you factor in all the bonuses, it works out to less... If that makes sense.. I love the feeling I get with bonuses.. It's like getting gifts for your birthday or Christmas...

I agree, but honestly the product I have received from her are beautiful and will pay the money knowing the product is in top shape and freshly dug. And maybe the fact that I pretty much get a bonus for everyone I purchase might have something to do with it. Also she carries a ton of my favorite hybridizer too! Now I'm sure if Keith kappel had an Internet site, it may be a bit of competition.
Yes, Robin from Iris Sisters lives across the street from Keith Keppel. Her website states that she is taking orders until Sept. 15th. I agree...she always sends beautiful rhizomes and ton's of bonuses. She's one of my favorite vendors (along with Superstition).
Although I like the irises I have gotten from Mid America they have been pretty dried out and can't hold a candle to Superstitions' rhizomes. Last year I accidentally bought Sordid Lives from both Mid America and Superstition. The rhizome from Superstition far outperformed the Mid-America rhizome...and now it looks like the Mid-America rhizome may have bloomed out. It has no leaves and is showing no increases. I know it's just one experience, and I've gotten many others from Mid America that have done well, but for me it was a strong illustration of the value I'm getting for my money.
Iris Sisters IS pricier, I agree, but you get two for one really with their bonuses. And Robyn gave me an iris that she isn't introducing until next year which was very generous! Mid-America has some really really nice iris, but the digging and shipping fees are a bit stiff.

That is a lovely little SDB, Teresa. Let me know how it does for you. And if it blooms next spring photos would be great. It looks like a great addition to your garden.

Thank you, Bonnie. Blue and yellow is one of my favorite color combinations. I am excited about some TB that I planted last Fall that didn't bloom for me but they have all increased so next Spring should be GOOD!
I kept my mother's African violets alive for about 25 years after she died. The last one bit the dust a few years ago. Now I've got orchids that I'm torturing inside. I don't have the heart to just toss them out... Other than the Spathiphyllum that I got for my birthday in 1970, I don't do house plants well... My mind is too focused on what's growing outdoors.
