I have a few Red alert bulbs in a pot - after heavy rain fall - the pot was fill with water - the hole was plugged:(
I dug them up- should I replant in drier soil or just store them? Since I'm in a hot zone, which would be the best way to care for them?

It's probably too early to give them a cold period so I would just replant them.

Yep, just go ahead and replant them. Every lily bulb has a built in programmer that tells it when to come up, so yours won't start growing until it's normal emergence time next spring. I would let the bulbs dry a day or two in the shade just to be sure the bottom basil plate is dry and the scales aren't water logged. If the scales turn a little pink or purple in the process, that's ok. Water in well just one time when finished and that's it. Red Alert is very hardy and heat tolerant. Smiling
