valleylynn said:Tim you are very bad, very bad. Where is your 'Fuego'? Do I see tiny offsets laying on their sides?

No, no Fuego to be found. I was just hinting that my garden was in desperate need of this particular cultivar. Rolling my eyes. I was totally jealous of yours. Hilarious!

Tim you will be happy to see the very big fir tree in Kevin's yard. It throws needles on several of his seedling beds, and they seem to love it.

That is very good advice Lynn. I have been moving the pots around to give them more sunshine. Tonight will be the first night the temps are going to below freezing ~27* F which is very unusual and very late in the fall/winter season. I am not sure if I should just cover them or bring them in the garage.
Tim , I like the idea of landscaping in a pot...I can handle those kind of rocks!
Greg, those are beautiful pics! I especially like Hausmanii and like the comments on the others...it helps in making the wish list.

Very nice looking bed Tim! Lovey dubby I get pine needles in one of my gardens too, and yes, I use tweezers to get them out. I don't like the look of them and when they dry out they stab you when working in the garden. Oh, and sometimes they break off in your fingers too. Whistling Whistling

Anna, semps love the cold. You can leave them outside. We would love to see some photos of them. The last year of weather has been very odd for most of us.

Ouch, break off in your finger?

I was taking a look at 'Sassy Frass' this morning and it I thought it had changed considerably since about a month ago, so I snapped a picture to compare. Here's a side-by-side comparison. Not much change really, is there? Oh well. Maybe a bit more red, a bit lighter yellow, a bit more open rosette. I'll try again next month.

What happened to your camera Julia.
Love the photos, but not as sharp as your other photos. Pacific Red Hawk is interesting.
