Jill, thanks for putting this event together yet again. Had a great time visiting and meeting some newcomers. Lots of fun, and look forward to the spring plant swap.

Thanks, Jill--it was terrific to see old friends and meet new ones, and definitely missed those who were not able to make it!

I tried to get photos of everyone, but my apologies to anyone I may have missed in the hubbub! Also, not all people in the photo are visible in the thumbnail--click on the photos to see everyone! :-)

I was going to post this on a new thread but seems right to keep it here.

I really can't describe the sense of family I feel being a part of this wonderful group of people. It was such a blessing to Darcy and I today to be honored at the seed swap, not only that, but also get some really cool things for our little girl. It's sweet to know she is loved by so many and she's not even born yet. Kind of gives you perspective on how much God loves us before we're born. The shovel is SOOO cool! What a great idea that was Smiling You guys are so generous! Anyway, thank you all so very much, you guys are awesome and I can't wait to introduce you to our little girl. Perhaps at the fall swap Sticking tongue out

Great pics too Sally, naturally some unflattering of me...LOL Thanks for documenting the good times!

Wow, what a great afternoon! Donna was so apologetic about the scheduling glitch, but using that back area worked out great... it's so much bigger than the back room that we had plenty of room for eating areas as well as gift & seed tables.

Gotta say, having a BABY SHOWER for Jeff & Darcy sure beats any of the bingo or trivia games we've done as a transition, hands down! They are so sweet, and I love that they're letting us share in their excitement and anticipation. Jeff is so pleased & proud, he nearly out-glows Darcy. :-)

Wonderful to visit with old friends and to make some new ones. As always, we missed those who couldn't be there. I think Jan gets the prize for distance this time... and what fun to meet her niece! Sure hope we'll see her here soon.

Great photos!! I always mean to take pictures and then don't manage it, so I'm doubly thankful for those who snap away and share after events like this. Thank you!

LOL, I think this was my most disorganized seed swap ever, but fortunately we've been doing it enough years (was this our 9th?) that it pretty much organizes itself. Smiling

Well, thanks... I think I'm just disappointed in myself for not managing much in the way of seeds this year, especially with the cool new seed swap tool to use.

A couple of folks mentioned the same tool might be really useful for plant swaps, since we've started doing a lot more pre-swapping for those events (giving us more time to chat). Maybe Dave can add a tweak or two, but we can probably use it as is if needed, just as we were able to work around (ignore) the mail-in dates to use it for an in-person swap.

I like that once items are in my main swap list, I can pull them into any given swap... so I can build the list at my convenience, even before I'm sure what plants or seeds I'll have available in a particular season.

I'll keep after her. She LOVES to take pics so I'm sure she will share. She really is a remarkable woman. (She takes after her aunt). Oops, did I say that out loud? Rolling on the floor laughing
