I received some green rose seeds. It shows a zone of 7 and up. (also pink drift rose seeds just havent looked them up yet) Will I have a problem growing these in 6b? This will be my first try at roses. Any advice is appreciated.
If I were going to give growing rose seeds a try for the first time, I would look for something a little safer. Drift roses are only zone 6b and warmer. I am sure someone here will have useful suggestions.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by safer? I'll try the drift as I am 6b zone. I received these in a swap and had never heard of the green rose. I might try a couple and see how they do and if they dont care for the climate I'll pass them on to someone with a proper zone.
A rose that is definitely hardy in your zone would be a better bet to try as you have no experience with rose seeds. If the green rose does not thrive, you won't know whether it is your seed-starting technique or your zone you have to blame. It will be more fun if you have success from the first.
