Have you ever tried iris versicolor? They are a native species & could remind you of siberian irises. They just come in purple, however. For different colors of Siberians all should try Joe Pye Weed Garden. jpwflowers.com. Only very new ones have the higher prices. Many of the older ones are also great.

I have ordered from them, Lucy....they are wonderful! Never tried the iris versicolor...will have to check it out.....
