Wow, I am definitely watching this forum. I can't believe all the beautiful blooms. I am on Pinterest, but really don't know how to post my pictures. I guess I will learn.
I can't believe all the pictures of your dahlia's, they are fantastic.

Nice pics of the HH 6 in 1!

I grew it last year for the first time, but it was shaded out by other plants, and I only got 2-3 blooms off of it. Hopefully I can give it a better spot this year.

I've been looking at TONS of dahlia pics and have come to the conclusion that the big, fluffy ones are my downfall. Myrtle's Folly is my new obsession. Anyone grow any others like it that I should check out?

Here is a page of all Laciniated Dahlias

https://www.pinterest.com/alla...

you could look through. I don't know haw many of them are A sized, but there are some nice ones.

The only one I have grown in Pinelands Princess. I have stayed away from them simply because they don't hold up very well in a vase. But they sure are gorgeous in the garden. I do have a couple more coming this year that I couldn't resist.

HollyHill 6 in 1 seems like another name for unstable genes. Rolling on the floor laughing Pretty though

I just purchased my begonia bulbs for the summer. Went early so I got my choice.

I loved Myrtle's Foley last year. I had so many beautiful dahlia's. I am so afraid that I lost some of my favorites. This is Myrtle's Foley from last fall, along with some fo my other favorites - I wish I could remember all the names.

Who Dun It has been one of my favorites for the past 5 years. The top two are so similar in color, but I believe the 2nd is Myrtle's Foley.

Thumb of 2016-02-21/MyRee/dadf1e These were from Swan Island last year. I didn't plant them until the end of June but they grew nicely and gave me beautiful blooms. The Wall of greenery is from 4 sweet potato plants.

I'll put in a word for Honken Dahlias.

He is a small grower in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and is a member of the MN Dahlias Soc. He has been growing Dahlias for years, but only started marketing a few years ago. He is selling tubers from his web site and also sells cut flowers at his neighborhood market.

Very trustworthy reliable guy.

I have not ordered from Homestead, but I know people who have and haven't heard any complaints - They do seem to have quite a few dahlias that no one else carries.

Nice list there MyRee !

I am most looking forward to Vancouver...because I saw it here! Show and Tell and Bodacious are a few I wouldn't mind finding now too. I have ordered several whites this year.

Oh Lord Geof. You would have to post a whole page of laciniated dahlias. They are my latest obsession. Now I'm going to spend most of the morning looking for suppliers for at least 20 of them.

Elizabeth- I toured Homestead Dahlias last summer. He's a small grower, plants looked good. Walked the fields with the owner and placed a large order. Offered to pay right then with my debit card but he declined, said he would contact me when they dug their dahlias and knew for sure what they had and-never heard from him again. He was very friendly, chatty, and maybe a little "ditsy". But what the heck, many of us have quirky personalities. Since then I have heard many negative comments about Homestead Dahlias. I know you posted this quite some time ago, and if you placed an order I hope all goes well.
