An applied physics course, and lots of time looking at websites and manuals.
The starting point for the design was our local climate. Also, I wanted it to be self-regulating so I wouldn't have to dash out at short intervals to adjust vents, etc.

I'm impressed, Chip. I built four greenhouses over a 10 yr. period, but they were not all that complicated. I also built all the benches, again, pretty simple stuff. Then simply purchased fans and heaters.
