@gemini_sage here's some from you (most went into ground, which, incidentally, I saw poking through today).

Thumb of 2016-03-19/jmorth/2254bd

These left overs were potted and placed in their cold period the 15th of December and taken out of cold March 13th. I suspect they may have been too small to force so they're filed under 'experimental'.

Lovely just lovely! I went to the Old House website and checked out the hyacinths and the daffs too for that matter. I don't think either orangey hyacinth is what I'm looking for but I like General Kohler. Thanks for the tips.

Beautiful Jmorth. You are right about the fragrance of Gypsy, I could smell it in the next room. I put all my pots out on the patio today. I want them to get a lot of sun so they will bloom next year.

@Cem9165 , if I recall correctly Ms. Backhouse was the 1st daffodil to break the color barrier, considered to be the 1st 'pink' daffodil. 'Pink', of course, covers about any color other than yellow and white...until more modern times. Here's some growers description - 'This is the oldest of the pink daffodils and named by the breeder after his wife. It has ivory white petals and a creamy rose trumpet that ages to a beautiful glowing pink.'
@Cinta, thanks; Gipsy just pervades a room with sweet fragrance.

Candy Apple Delight (a Darwin tulip)
At some point in the forcing project, I think when moving it out of it's cold period, the whole pot got dropped on the concrete basement floor...I kind of remember just pushing the bulbs down in the pot to give them support, watering it and putting it into the refrigerator to continue cold period longer.
Tough tulip, in spite of adversity, it's done well for us.

Well done Jack! I tip my hat to you. Mrs. Backhouse is such a graceful beauty- modern hybrids have come a long way, but often lack the grace of the heirlooms.

Thanks Neil, Annette...
more to come
This year I hope to remember to order pre-cooled bulbs from Brent and Becky's when I place my order there. That way the forcers can start a month earlier and be over about the time the bulb show starts outside.
All of the pots are out of their cold period now. I'm guessing there are 6 or 7 still under fluorescent lights in the cool basement awaiting bud/bloom development before being brought upstairs for viewing.
