Welcome to the Iris (a.k.a. roses) forum JavaMom. We love irises, love iris photos, love talking about irises and love teasing people who write 'roses' instead of 'irises'. LOL Stick around as I am one who may post a photo labeled 'iris' when it is of a 'cat'. sigh.......

Easy solution to that Bonnie, just name the cat Iris. Whistling

Welcome! from Oregon. This is the best place to find all the lovely Iris you didn't even know existed. I am going to have to plant them all one foot apart, and probably downsize in the future to fit ones I like more.

Thank you all !!! And yes my Kitties love the garden a lot too.... We had a freaky weather here, this morning some part of Fort Worth got hails and very strong wind...
Few of Power Poles were broken and people's fence were down, thanks God my little neigbourhood hardly had any damage... I saw in the news few Flamingos and ducks were killed in the Zoo...

Thanks again and like I said glad to be here and I promised no more mistake (Roses for Iris, but I love them both)...

JavaMom, I love all flowers, and I collected roses before I got into the Iris. Come spring time I think most of us on ATP just crave color in any form. Thumbs up

My sister just moved to Fort Worth. She enjoyed giant hail for the first time, until she saw all the dents in her car.

Hi Niki,

I'm sorry about your sister, this hails & windstorm came unexpectedly, I hope she's still glad she moved here...Fort Worth is very nice and friendly city...everybody came from somewhere else...we moved here 11 years ago because my Sister in law lives here and glad that we do...Hi Totally_Amazing from downunder...love Australia...been to Brisbane, Melbourne, GoldCoast, Cairns and Perth for vacation while we lived overseas...you have some gorgeous flowers there !!!
We are praying that we won't have a terrible Spring, the tornadoes started early this Season...

Thank you all and have a wonderful week-end,

I agree that Oz has some wonderful flowers. I really love Melbourne with all it's parks, and the Sydney Botanical Gardens are a joy. Nice to see someone else has traveled to Perth! Not as many Americans get over there. And I have fond memories of Cairns because I learned to dive there.

We got down to 26 last night. Still only 39 degrees out at noon, but the sun is shining and tomorrow should be warmer. Smiling
