I keep McRae's book over and over again he refers to strains all the time.........
and then he refers to hybrids all the time......
but I am confused on the difference......

Thread OP

Celebrating Gardening: 2015
I have read this Lorn and I guess what I am trying to understand if there is such a thing as a true trumpet or is everything is strain..........

I also read and not in his book that Regale is considered an OT and I was sure that it would be a trumpet as well

just learning........
and yes that book is well used....... I have 2 copies, one for the garden outside and one for inside.......I want to keep the better copy for my grand daughter that might have an interest in lilies in years ahead..... she is 2 now but every time she visits here she is pointing to the lilies and doing the sniffing things.........she loves them all...........
