One thing that flower gardeners have is a lot of flowers. The question is: Do you bring them inside?

I have a cutting bed for myself, and my granddaughter has a cutting bed here, so we can have flowers in the house most of the summer. Baby's breath goes with everything!

But I like to leave my gardens alone, and very seldom cut from them, unless something breaks, then in it comes.

I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

I've so often thought of having beds just for cutting. The idea first hit me 45 years ago when a friend of my mother had a cutting garden for roses...hidden away in a fenced area behind her garage. I thought it brilliant since I find the roses attractive as a garden only when they're in bloom. I've done this with my bearded iris...they're in 3 gal pots to be brought over when they're flowering and then taken back to the nursery when not. Same with narcissus...potted...then I don't mind cutting them.
I could be wrong...

Thank you all. She's a firecracker, though.
