I am closing out several varieties of orchids in bud/bloom to make room for more orchids coming in this month and in April. I have the Jfk. (Iwan.) Apple Blossom, Pot. 'Little Goldfish', Pot. Burana Beauty 'Burana', Lc. Little Fortune, Blc. Momilani Rainbow 'Waldor', Pot. Burana Beauty 'Buenaflor', Den. Spring Bird, and Blc. Lily Marie Almas 'MGR'. I only have 1-3 plants of these varieties.

The Den. Spring Bird is now post-bloom and I have enough of them that I an offering a "3 for the price of 2" deal.

First come-first served.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

Two more close-out orchid varieties. The first is the Fdk. After Dark 'Sunset Valley Orchids' FCC/AOS and the second is the Vandachostylis (Neostylis) Lou Sneary 'Bluebird'.

The Fdk. is one of Fred Clarke's creations and this plant is now in active leaf and root growth. This will be a late summer/early fall bloomer. The Van. is a compact grower, has just finished blooming, and I have it both potted and mounted.

The photo of the Fdk. is of the actual plants that are available and those of the Van. were taken of the plants (in bloom) that are available. Those mounted Van. are on several woods. The cork-mount is shown.

I only have a handful of these two varieties. Contact me via T-Mail if you have interest.

I had to post to say that I just had the BEST time corresponding with Ken and putting an order together. With his experience backing me up, I've decided to see if I can grow orchids... and I am totally entranced with not only his plants but also those wonderful mounts that he uses. (The 'Bluebird' on the left in the last photo is not available -- it's mine mine mine! But he does have similar mounts in cork as well as a number of other woods.)

I love that his discount has always covered shipping for me (even with heat packs), so there's no second guessing about prices -- I just assume I'll end up paying about what it says on his website listing. I'm not promising this will be true for every order, just letting you know my experience. Also, nobody packs plants with more care!

I received my order from Ken yesterday and I have to say that his packaging is outstanding! Two of the orchids I received are blooming. No damage to the flowers during shipment. I love the cultivars I received and look forward to Ken's future sales! I am extremely pleased with my order as well as the price I paid for them!

Here is what they look like once I unpacked them:

Pictures just don't do the flowers justice (IMHO):

Tom, I'm just starting with orchids, too... or rather re-starting after slowly killing several of them some years ago. IMO, you couldn't find a better supplier + mentor in one than Ken!

There's more encouragement, help, and drool-worthy photos on the NGA orchid forum, too, but Ken was my starting point!
