Did you ever order from the Pacific Northwest Lily Society bulb sales? It looks much like Soiree, a Mak lily.

We also ordered from ADR but they don't have anything that resembles it.

MAK website wont open to me. I have no wholesale id on that site.
What blows my mind is I have this red lily in my files as a NOID.
It resembles Matrix but is too tall

While browsing this site I came across photos of the Mak 30th anniversary bash that I attended. Boy that brought back some lily memories. I always hoped they would do a 40th but of that I have not heard.

Connie, thanks for the research. I will name mine Soiree for it is really close, sure looks like it.

What I do is if I feel sure but no proof (such as an old invoice) is label it with what I think it is then a small discreet question mark or at least note it in my records. I seem to have my share of "question marks" in my garden !

When Polly Kinsmen and I were ordering plants and bulbs, she was in charge of placing orders,we collaborated on what we wanted.
I know we did business with MAK and ADR plus 2Grow and some I cant remember.
I am happy with Soiree until someone calls me on it.

I do what Pard does, too. And if people ask me about it, I'll just say "I am pretty sure it is Soiree" (or whatever). It does look like Soiree to me, too.
